Ai Dumpling

Stumped upon this dumpling joint! Was skeptical at first with the 4.4 rating and the ghetto exterior of the building lol, but very glad we tried it out. Very fresh and tasty dumplings! My wife and kids loved it. Free Wi-Fi. Cash or debit only.Recommended #1 (beef, coriander), #7 (chicken, mushroom), #17 (pork, shrimp, coriander) which I tried. Whether it's streamed or pan fry, is really to your own liking, I prefer pan fry. Not too fond of their peanut butter dumpling, was OK, the chilli oil was not spicy enough.If you look for dumplings, this place got you covered! This place is very tiny though, can only seat 12-16 people only, more suited for takeout.

Awesome dumpling are found here. The taste and the texture is excellent! I love the peanut butter sauce. One of my best dumpling restaurent place in Montreal. I usually pick up because it’s a small place.

We love to order from Ai Dumpling, my favorite pork chives and my hubby takes #21 Tofu veggies . The chili sauce is sooo good!!! I bought a full pot!Great service, tasty food and various delivery options.

Ai Dumpling in NDG is a small, underrated family-run restaurant well-worth the trip from anywhere in the Montréal area. They make everything fresh to order, and offer vegetarian and vegan options. Three dishes are pictured here: the humble cucumber is elevated to a sublime status with some chili, vinegar, sesame seeds, and sesame oil. Refreshing and delicious, and one of several starters and salads. Their wontons are made to order as are their dumplings. Dumplings are served 15 to an order, but diners can combine flavors or have half-portions, and always have the option for boiled or fried! Pictured here are crispy fried shrimp dumplings.

Really great dumplings! They have an impressive variety considering how small it is. We tried the pork and scallop and the pork and cabbage. Both were excellent. DO NOT skip the cucumber salad. We ordered it at the last minute and I'm so happy we did. Awesome spot, sweet owners. Would recommend.

Amazing dumplings!I ordered #2, #6, and #19 and they were all amazing. The flavour of the chicken curry dumpling (#6) is what stood out from all that I’ve ordered.Dumplings had a good size, texture, and definitely taste. I am sure that I will go back here the next time I’m in town.

The size of an order of dumplings is very big, you get full with it. The price is around 9-15 depending on the stuffing you like. There’s a lunch special: you get a soup for free with the dumplings. The staff is very nice. Good little place, will come again.
